Bio: I am a public relations student at the University of Oregon and a creator of big ideas and organizer of intricate plans. I am working towards a career in event planning through the School of Journalism and Communications and I'm set to graduate in June, 2014. I am the perfect balance between creative and organized. Currently, I am the marketing intern for the Eugene Symphony. My day-to-day interactions with Symphony patrons are teaching me the importance of professionalism with clients. I am also an account executive at Allen Hall Public Relations (AHPR) in Eugene, Ore. My time in AHPR has challenged me to better my communication and planning skills. I found my passion several years back through outlets that enhanced my flexibility and diligence. In recent years, my leadership experience within my sorority, Kappa Alpha Theta, has taught me how to meet high demands and design events according to style and trend. In school, I am studying the basics of event planning and learning how to effectively plan large-scale events. I spend my free time immersed in creative activities or in social settings with friends. I hope to seek work in other industries including wedding planning or entertainment after I graduate.
